Can i call att home phones with my ATT cell phone for free?

I have a ATT cell phone and i have free ATT calling. Can i call ATT homes phones for free too?

Unfortunately not. ATT Wireless and the ATT Home service are separate entities. Same thing happens with Verizon... While it would be very nice to be able to do this, at this point ATT does not have an option to support this feature.

I love AT&T. My phone has constant 3G connectivity in my home area and I rarely have a dropped call.

Beyond that, the rare occasion that there has been an issue with my plan, etc. the customer service reps at AT&T have been courteous and have always excepted the cost in rectifying the situation. Something my previous character NEVER did.

Even if I did not have an iPhone I would be an AT&T customer.

I live in Colorado Springs and travel to DC and San Diego frequently for business. In the last three years with the iPhone I dropped maybe 9-10 calls. I credit that to memory management with apps like Free Memory, but have been doubting that theory lately with iOS4 which doesn’t allow those apps to run…3GS on iOS4, zero dropped calls so far. I’m very satisfied with AT&T.

I have also been an AT&T customer since the Cingular days. I never have an issue with dropped calls or customer service. On the other hand, I do have an issue with cost of the service as compared to Verizon or Sprint. My friends new Android phone does almost everything my iPhone does including tethering for about $70 less a month on a family plan :-p Will I switch? No! My iPhone does everything more easily. And jail breaking gives me tethering without having to pay $20 a month extra to access the data I already pay for!
